Tax Credit Solutions LLC ("TaxCredit4U," "we," "us," or "our") operates the website at www.taxcredit4u.com and the associated R&D tax credit platform. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices.

Information you provide

• Account information: name, email address, and password when you create an account
• Company information: business name, EIN, industry, tax year, gross receipts, and other details entered during the claim process
• Financial records: payroll data, employee compensation, contractor payments, and supply costs that you upload to calculate your R&D tax credit
• Project information: descriptions of research activities, employee roles, and time allocations
• Payment information: billing details processed through Stripe (we do not store your full credit card number)

Information collected automatically

• Usage data: pages visited, features used, and interactions with the platform
• Analytics data: We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our website. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect anonymous usage data. You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

• Generate IRS Form 6765, Technical Narrative Reports, and Finalization Letters

Third-party data processing

We share your information with a limited set of third-party services, each necessary to operate the platform:

Anthropic (AI processing)

This is important to understand. We use Anthropic's API (Claude) to process documents you upload. Specifically:

• Uploaded payroll records and project documents are sent to Anthropic's API for automated data extraction
• Project descriptions and employee activity information are processed to generate Technical Narrative Reports
• Anthropic processes this data according to their commercial terms and does not use your data to train their models under their commercial API terms

Stripe (payments)

Payment card details are sent directly to Stripe for processing. We receive only a confirmation of payment and a partial card number for your records. Stripe's privacy policy governs their handling of your payment data.

SendGrid (email)

We use SendGrid to send transactional emails including account verification, claim status updates, and document delivery notifications. Your email address and the content of these notifications are processed by SendGrid.

Data retention

• Account and claim data are retained for as long as your account is active and as required by applicable tax record retention rules
• Uploaded documents are retained for the duration of your claim processing and a reasonable period afterward
• You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us

Data security

We implement technical and organizational measures to protect your information. See our Security page for details on encryption, authentication, access controls, and backup procedures.

Your rights

You may:

• Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
